the Gazebo in Altamont.

June 8, Saturday, 2-4, Dian, Barbara, Nicky, Carle, Dan, and Russ, with some spoons and clogging
assistance from Theresa, played at the Gas-Up near Gallupville.  The ambiance was great as usual.

October 21, Sunday, from noon till 2 pm, Susie, Dian, Barbara, Gerry, Bill, and Russ played at Altamont
Orchards.

September 9, Sunday, from noon till 2 pm, Susie, Dian, Arlene, Carle, Nathan, and Russ played for the
300th Anniversary Celebration in Schoharie at Lasell Hall after the parade.

Sunday, August 5, at noon, Nancy, Bill, Dian, Barbara, Al, Dan, Nathan, Carle, and Russ played on the
front steps of the Middleburgh High School for the 300th celebration of Middleburgh.  It rained lots, but we
mostly stayed dry.

Stemple played at Rod's house starting a little after noon.

including free strawberries, ice cream, biscuit and beverage.

John, and Patricia played for the annual Library Day Chicken BBQ in Altamont at the Gazebo, followed by

July 10, 2009, Friday at 6 pm, Dan, Nancy, Ray, Nathan, Gerry, and Russ played at the Knox Store and
received a donation which was passed on to the Kiwanis Club.

June 19, 2009,  at 5:30 pm, Susie, Dan, Nancy, Ray, Paul, Nathan, Rick and Russ played for the Library
Day Chicken BBQ fund raiser in the Altamont Gazebo.

June 13, 2009, Saturday, from 11:30 to 1:30 pm Gerry, Dan, Ray, Paul, Nancy, Suzie, and Russ played at
the 3rd Annual Thacher Park Sheep and Wool Gathering.  This year llamas and alpacas and a herding
demo were featured.

June 7, 2009, Sunday, Dan, Dian, Rick, Nancy, Susie, and new member Nathan Giordano played on  the
porch of the Knox Museum, and drew a pretty good crowd.

November 8, Saturday, at 6 pm for about 1/2 hour, Dan, Gerry, Dian, Ray, Suzie, and Russ played for a
wedding reception at the Temple for Roshna, the daughter of Bala, Dan's friend.  We were treated to an
exquisite Indian meal.

the second time at the Renselaerville Hilltown Market and Natural Foods CO-OP Fall Festival.

Nursing Home next to the library in Guilderland.  Paula Shafer joined us and sang.

Schoharie.Rick kept us out of trouble by bringing us our own table.

July 20, 2007, Friday 6 to 7:30 pm, Dian, Nancy, Ray, Rod, and Russ played  for a fund-raiser for the
Gallupville Fire Department, dinner provided afterwards.  The event was the Town of Wright Preservation
of the Union Festival, Civil War period event, which reflects events and issues that occurred right after the
Civil War.

Town Park Day (including Model T show); we played for our dinner as usual.

deluxe dinner at a Masonic Event, an official visit of the Most Worthy Grand Matron, at the Turf Inn on
Wolf Road.

March 4, 2007, Sunday 4 to 6 pm, Dian, Dan, Nancy, Mary Ann, Rod, and Russ played for a surprise
birthday party for Caroline Wilson at the Appel Inn located between Altamont and Guilderland Center.  
Our host, Steve Wilson donated $100 each to  the Community Care Givers, the Helderberg Kiwanis, and
the Hilltown Resource Center for our services and we enjoyed a great buffet dinner.

Feb 10, 2007, Saturday Evening at 7:30 Gerry, Ray, Paul, Rod, Dian, Nancy, Dan, and Russ played in the
Hilltown Players Talent Showcase at BKW school.

Jan 27, 2007, Saturday afternoon at 2 pm, Dan, Nancy, Paul, Rod, Ray, Dian, and Russ played at the
Guilderland Center Nursing Home, rehearsing for the Talent Showcase.

Jan 4th, 2007, Thursday evening, Rick, Dian, Ray, Rod, Dan, and Russ played  at the American Hotel in
Sharon Springs for a Fund Raiser for the Tri-County Arts Coucil.  We enjoyed an excellent dining
experience in return for our musical services.

December 10, 2006, Sunday, from 1 to 3 pm, Dian, Nancy, Dan, Rod, Ray, Paul, Gerry, Rick, and Russ played for
the Holiday Program at the Old Stone Fort in Schoharie.  The turnout wasn't great, but Dan recorded us, and the
punch and cookies were great.

December 3rd, 2006, Sunday, at 2 pm, Ray, Dian, Dan, Nancy, Rod, and Russ played for the New Scotland Historical
Association at the Wyman Osterhout Community Center in New Salem.

October 15, Sunday, 4 to 6 pm, Dan, Nancy, Rod, Ray, Dian, and Russ played  for the Spiro Socaris family
gathering in Scodak.  Spiro won us at the auction at the recent Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy Gala.

Festival in the sun and the wind and the cold and the clouds.

Years Party in Cobleskill, including sparkling white grape juice.

December 19th, 2005,  Monday, Dian, Ray, Nancy, Dustin, Rick, and Russ played for the Duanesburg Historical
Society, at 7 pm in Bishop Scully Hall in Delanson.  In between tunes, we heard quite a bit of local history.

International Airport.

December 14, 2005,  Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm, Nancy, Vandhana, Rod, Dian, Dan, Ray, and Russ  played for the  
Parsons 175th anniversary reception at the Opalka Gallery on the Sage Campus in Albany.

Old Stone Fort Holiday Celebration in Schoharie.  It was a small room, but we packed the room!

October 25, Tuesday, 7:30 pm, we were going to play for the Knox Historical Society, but the event was snowed-out!

Library.  We had a great audience including children who were charmed with playing the spoons Dan brought along.

and pie party.  

October 8th, we were planning to play at the Thatcher Park Fall Festival from 1 to 3 pm but the event was
rained out.

Altamont Library Day Chicken Barbecue Fund Raiser, at Orsini Park in the Gazebo.  

June 4th, Saturday, from noon till 2 pm, Rick, Dian, Paul, Rod, George and Russ played for a surprise retirement
(from the Knox Nursery School) party in the Berne Town Park for Judy Wright and enjoyed lunch in the park.  

May 14th, Saturday, Dian, George, Gerry, Dan, Arlene, Rod, Rick, Ray, and Russ played for a surprise 70th
birthday party at the Octagon Barn for Ed Welsh.  We did our best harmony every on “The Circle.”  

May 7th, 2005, Dian, George, Paul, Rod, Arlene, and Russ played during the reception for the annual Tulip Ball as
part of the Tulip Festival festivities.  We were the warm-up band for the Refrigerators, and enjoyed quite a dinner.  
April 26th, 2005, Tuesday, at 6 pm, George, Ray, Dian, Dan, Arlene, and Russ played at the Pine Haven CC, (1151
Siver Road, off of Willow St, which is off of Western Avenue) for the Community Caregivers Reception.  We
played as the guests arrived, listened to speeches, enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and deserts, and then played a couple
more selections.  

April 3rd, 2005, Sunday from 2 to 3, Dian, George, Ray, Rod, Ken Briggs, and Russ played for Wilma Lee’s
retirement from the post office party at the Octagon Barn.

On Saturday, December 4th, 2004 at 1 pm Gerry, Dan, Rick, Dian, Paul, Tom, and Russ played at the Old Stone Fort in Schoharie for their annual holiday celebration.

On Friday evening, November 19th, at 7 pm, Rick, Dan, Dian, Ray, Rod, Tom White, and Russ practiced at the Octagon barn on Middle Road in Knox to get ready for the Old Stone Fort.  
About 20 other guests attended, and we enjoyed beverages and snacks.  Rick and Daniel Carlson led us in a Barn Blessing, covering the upstairs meeting room, the downstairs storage area, the
fields, and the front doorway.  It was a very thorough blessing!

Saturday, October 16th, Katie, Nick, Ray, Paul, Dian, Rod, Arlene, and Russ played for the last of the Hilltown Farmer’s Market Days at the barn on Middle Road.

Saturday afternoon, October 9th, from 2 to 4 pm, Rod, Paul, Dian, Gerry, Rick, Ray, Russ played in Thatcher Park for the fall festival.  Rick and Paul brought instruments for children to play
along with us…. and they did, percussion instruments….  tambourines, triangles, drums, etc.

the dinner which we enjoyed.

Friday, July 30th Gerry, George, Dian, Rosemary, Dan, Rod, Mark, Paul, and Russ,  played at the Knox Country Store at 6 pm outside under the pavilion…. Joe and Marie made a Donation to
the Kiwanis Club.

Saturday, July 24th, 5 pm George, Paul, Ray, Mark, Dian, Russ, and of course Rod played at Rod’s log cabin 1580 Cotton Hill Road near Gallupville.  We helped celebrate Rod’s birthday.

Sunday, July 18th, at 1:30 pm, Dian, Rod, Dan, George, Ray, and Gerry attended a picnic and performed mostly waltzes, hornpipes, and jigs at Conkling Hall in Rensselaerville.

Saturday, July 10th, 4 to 5 pm, Ray, Rod, Dian, Al, Gerry, Bob, Dan, George, and Russ played for Berne Heritage Day in the Berne Town Park.  We had a pretty good crowd, and quite a few
people mentioned that we sounded very good.

Friday, June 18th, Rod, Ray, Al, Dan, Mark, and Russ played again for the annual library day in Altamont, at Orsini Park at the Gazebo, from 5 to 7 pm, dinner included.  Nice audience of
course, no rain this time.  But muggy!

Saturday, May 29th, from 1 to 3 pm, George, Ray, Dian, Gerry, Al, Rod, Dan, and Russ played at the “Porter Party” on the corner of Leesome Lane and route 156 just up the hill from
Altamont.

good.

held at the Woodlin Club in Glenville.

Center in New Salem.

Thursday, March 4th, Rod, Gerry, Dan, Dian, Ray, and Russ played for the cocktail hour for a Masonic convention at the Turf Inn on Wolf Road and enjoyed a deluxe dinner.

Sunday, February 22, at 3pm we played at Our Lady of Hope Nursing Home in Latham.  We had quite a turnout including Dan, Gerry, Dian, Mark, Al, Russ, and Bob, AND
including Rod, our new spoons player, and George, Dian’s friend who played guitar, and Paul, Mark’s friend who played guitar.  We had a nice audience complete with cookies
and punch.

Saturday Afternoon, December 6th from 1 to 3 pm, we were scheduled to play for the annual holiday celebration at the Old Stone Fort in Schoharie, but alas we were snowed out!

Friday, November 14th, we practiced at the Masonic Lodge from 7 to 9 pm, working on some Holiday tunes.
Saturday evening, November 1st, from 7 to 9, Ray, Mark, Dian, Dan, Rick, Al, and Russ and Steve and Lil played at the Duanesburg Firehouse for the Duanesburg Presbyterian Church’s
Harvest Dinner.  We had quite a dinner!

Thursday, November 14th, we performed at Yono’s Restaurant, (The Armory Center) 64 Colvin Avenue in Albany, on the corner of Colvin and Central, 6:30-7:30 pm, at the Silent Auction for
benefit of the Community Care Givers.  We  had a pretty good turnout with Al, Dian, Jimmy, Dan, Gerry, Mark, Rick, Dustin, and Russ playing and singing our tunes for a nice crowd of
folks.  And we enjoyed the buffet afterwards…

Friday Evening, October 17th, Dian, Ray, Dan, Rick, and Russ played for a sing-a-long at the Schoharie Presbyterian Church.  We were joined by several other musicians in addition to some
very enthusiastic singers.

Wednesday Evening, October 1st   from 5 to 6 pm, Gerry, Jimmy, Dan, Ray, Russ, Dian, and Mark played for the reception for the Humanitarian Awards Dinner for the Parsons Child and
Family Center.  The event was held at the Albany  Country  Club.

Sunday Morning, September 21st Dustin, Ray, Mark, Dian, Jim, Dan, Gerry, Russ, and Pastor Rick played many tunes for the Schoharie Presbyterian Church service.  One of the attendees
said we were hot.

Sunday afternoon, September 7th  The Traditional Strings (Gerry, Al, Ray, Mark, Dan, Jim, Russ, and Dian), joined 4 other bands to play at the Westerlo Town Park Pavilion for the benefit of
the Hilltown Community Resource Center.  We were the first band to play, starting at 2 pm, and played for 45 minutes.

Saturday, August 23rd,  Dan, Gerry, Jimmy, Al, Mark, Dian, Ray, Rick, and Russ played for the Foster / Warden Wedding, winner of the Indian Ladder Farms benefit auction,  on 1 Picard
road just outside New Salem.  We played from 4:15 pm as guests arrived, and then we played again later as part of the reception, finishing up about 7:00 pm.  Gerry and Dan accompanied
members of the wedding party who sang La Vie en Rose.  Thanks to Dan and Maureen who provided the band with shirts.

Friday evening, August 1st from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Gerry, Dan, Jimmy, Al, Mark, Rosemary, Dian, Russ, Kyle, Ken, and Earl  performed at the Knox Country Store under the tent outdoors.  A
donation was made to the Kiwanis Club of the Helderbergs.

Sunday, July 27th, from 1 to 3 pm, Dan, Jimmy, Dian, Mark, Al, Gerry, Ray, Dian, Dustin, Russ, and Rick performed for  the Schoharie Kiwanis’ annual picnic in LaSalle Park in Schoharie,
which is located off of Spring Street which intersects with the main street.

Friday, July 11th, Gerry, Dian, Margaret, Julian, Mark, Dan, Jimmy, Al, and Russ performed for the third time at Conkling Hall in Rensselaerville from 7 to 9 pm, and were served dinner
afterwards.

Saturday afternoon, August 16th, from 2 to 3:30 pm, Gerry, Jimmy, Dan, Mark, Al, Ray, and Russ played at the Old Stone Fort in Schoharie.  We were part of a two day celebration of the
100th year anniversary of the first automobile in Schoharie, a 1903 Rambler which was on display.  We played outside under a tent and fled about 3:30 as dark clouds, lightening, and torrential
rain overtook the event.
Saturday, July 5, from 2 to 4 pm, Dian, Jimmy, Gerry, and Russ helped Gerry and Pat Irwin celebrate the high school graduation of their daughter Kelly.  Festivities were
held, including food and refreshments, in the Knox Town Park in Knox.

Friday, June 20, from 5 to 7 pm Dan, Al, Mark, Dian, Gerry, Jimmy, Beth, Dustin, Rick, Ray, and Russ played in the Altamont Gazebo for
the annual Altamont Library Day fund raiser.  Afterwards, we ate a complimentary Chicken dinner and were serenaded by a gentlemen who
sang acappella a tune he had written.

Friday, June 6th from 7 to 9 pm, Gerry, Rick, Dustin, Dan, Jimmy, Al, Mark, Dian, and Russ  practiced in Gary and Pam Kleppel’s barn on
route 146 east of the Township Tavern.

Saturday afternoon, May 17th, Dan, Jimmy, Al, Gerry, Mark, Dian, Dustin, and Russ played for the Thatcher Park Spring Fest, from 2 to 4
PM in the Paint Mine area….  We had a small but appreciative audience, and the ambience was excellent with the possible exception of the
black flies.

Thursday, May 8th, Dan, Jimmy, Rick, and Dian performed for the Community Care Givers at the Western Turnpike Golf Course Clubhouse.

Saturday, April 12th, 2003, Gerry, Mark, Rick, Dian, Dan, and Russ played for a benefit at the Schoharie Presbyterian Church.  Jimmy had
to work at the firehouse in Knox.

Masonic District and enjoyed a nice dinner afterwards.  Jimmy even danced his jig.

Sunday, February 9th, 7-9 pm, at the Berne Masonic Lodge, we held a jam session…. No recording… we  just tried out some new music.  
Dian, Gerry, Jimmy, Dan, and Russ were there in spite of the cold… and the wind …

Saturday, February 8th, a few of us played after the memorial service for John Moore, at the Knox Reformed Church.  John and Elizabeth
were among our most loyal attendees back in our Knox Store jam days.  We were honored to help celebrate John’s life.  Thanks Elizabeth and
family.

Friday, January 31st, 7-9, Dan, Dian, Mark, Margaret, Gerry, Jimmy, Rick, Dustin, and Russ met at the Berne Masonic Lodge, and held our
second recording session using Dan’s Yamaha equipment.  We recorded the Road to Lisdoon Varna set, Soldier’s Joy, Sidh Beag Sidh
Moore, and tried to record Lover’s Waltz, but it proved illusive.

Friday, January 17, 2003  Gerry, Dustin, Cody, Dan, Mark, Dian, Al, and Russ met at the Berne Masonic Lodge and Dan used his new
Yamaha Studio to record some of our tunes.  Our recordings of  Nora, The Cabri Waltz, Ragtime Annie, Pig Ankle Rag, and Westphalia
sound, well, pretty good.  Thank you Dan.

Friday, December 20, 2002, at 6:30 pm for an hour or so Gerry, Rick, Dan, and Russ played mostly Christmas music at the Guilderland
Center Nursing Home.  We had a great time and met some very nice people.

pm.

Friday, November 22, from 7 to 9 pm, Dian, Al, Mark, Dustin, Dan, Jimmy, Gerry, and Russ practiced at the Berne Masonic Lodge.   Dustin
brought a new tune he wrote, and we enjoyed working on that, and Dan brought along some tunes which were new to us, and we played
through quite a few of them.  We also practiced playing some Christmas music in preparation for the Old Stone Fort on December 7th.

Friday , November 1st,  we had a jam session at The Knox Reformed Church.   It seems mostly everybody had something else pressing in
their schedule, but Dian, Al,  and Russ played together and even did The Dancing Bear.  Ken Briggs joined us on the bass for a while and
Marla Briggs sang along.

Friday night October 18th  we enjoyed performing at Conklin Hall in Rensselaerville for the monthly Coffee House.  Dian, Nick, Katie, Al,
Mark, Rick, Gerry, Dan, and Russ played…

Friday night, October 4th 7-9 jam session (and practice for Rennselaerville) at the Gallupville House.  We had a pretty good turnout including
Dustin with his new fiddle, Rick, Al, Gerry, Mark, Dan, Russ, Dian, and Jimmy on the spoons.
Saturday, September 14, 6:30 – 10 pm, Dustin, Bob, Dan, Gerry, Dian, and Russ performed for the Retired Naval Officers Association at the Marriott on
Wolf Road in the Empire Room.  We enjoyed a deluxe dinner.

Sunday, September 8, Dustin, Dian, Mark, Dan, Russ, and of course Pastor Rick  played for the Schoharie Presbyterian Church Service.  Susan Bramer
joined us on the autoharp and spoons.

Friday, September 6, 7 – 9 pm, we met and practiced at the Gallupville House for our next two performances.  Rick had tunes to learn for the church
service on Sunday, and we  worked on our Armed Forces Medley for September 14.  And we hadn’t practiced together for a while…..

Saturday, August 24th, 3-5 pm, we played in New Scotland for Nancy McCaffrey’s husband’s 60th birthday party.  Rick called dances.  Gerry, Dian, Dan,
Jimmy, and Russ were there along with Mike Otis who played fiddle.

Thursday, July 4th, we played (unplanned) at a party before the wedding of Dan and Maureen Driscoll’s daughter Debbie to Bret, in Thatcher Park.  Gerry,
Dan, Daniel, Jimmy, and Russ played.  Dian tried to join us on a bandolin which wouldn’t cooperate.  We were cut short by an afternoon thunderstorm.

Thursday, August 15, we played in the gazebo as part of Cobleskill’s Arts in the Parks.   Dian, Al, Mark, Dan, Rick, Jimmy, Rosemary, Bob, and Russ were
there until it was too dark to see any more.  Next year we want a bigger gazebo.

Saturday, June 29, we played for the Herchenroder Wedding in the Thatcher Park, Glen Dune area.   Bob, Dan, Gerry, Jimmy, Dian, and Russ performed
and enjoyed the ambiance and food.  The hit of the afternoon was Jimmy Ronca’s Irish Jig!

Friday, June 14, we performed in the Altamont Gazebo for a Library Day fund raiser.  Dan played his bass guitar for a change, Al played guitar, Dian
played mandolin, Jimmy played spoons, Margaret brought her flute and Julian played drums.  Russ played piano.  Gerry had to work late and arrived after
we had just packed up, but offered moral support.   

The year is 2001, but we started playing together in 1997 in the Knox Store in Knox, NY.
Friday, May 24, we played at the Gallupville House, 7-9 pm.  Dan, Dian, Mark, Al, Jimmy, Rick,  Dustin and Russ played our favorite tunes
and practiced for  next  Sunday at the Schoharie Presbyterian Church.

Sunday, June  2,  we played for the Schoharie Presbyterian Church Service.  Dian, Gerry, Dustin, Mark, Russ, Dan, and of course Rick
performed.

Tuesday, May 14, at the Altamont Manor –7:30-8:30, Al, Dian, Rick, Mark, Bob, and Russ performed  for a reception for  the Community
Care Givers.

Saturday, May 11, we played at the Emma Thatcher Nature Center, Thatcher Park, at 4 p.m.   Al, Dan, Dian, Margaret, Julian, Jimmy,
Mark, Rick, and Russ  were joined by several people from the Nature Center who sang along or danced.

Friday, May 3, we  played at the Gallupville House  from 7-9 pm.

Sunday, April 21, 6 pm … at Red’s Restaurant in West Coxsackie, NY.      We played some tunes and helped  Gerry, Pat, and Kelly Irwin
celebrate Kelly’s confirmation and Pat and Gerry’s 25th Anniversary.  Dian, Mark, Bob, Jimmy, Dan, Russ, and of course Gerry played.  
Harry Garry joined us in singing the closing number.  Thanks Gerry, Pat, and Kelly.  Dinner was outstanding, and we had fun.

Wednesday, April 10,  4 - 5 pm, Rick, Dustin, Jimmy, Dian, Dan, and I played for an after school staff appreciation party at the Middle School
in Schoharie.  Rick called a couple of contra dances, some students danced a jig, and later they did the limbo while we played.  There was lots
of good food, and no one left hungry.

Friday, April 5th, Dian, Bob, Gerry, Al, Mark, Jimmy, and Russ played our old favorites at the Gallupville House from 7 until 9 pm.  Thanks
to those who brought snacks and beverages to share.  Our feature dancer, Amy Briggs,  was again on hand, poised and charming as usual.

Friday, March 15th,   Dian, Dustin, Bob, Kyle, Al, Dan, Mark, Jimmy, and Russ played at the Gallupville House from 7 until after 9:15 pm.   
Lots of beverages and snacks were brought and shared among those who came to listen and the band.  A feature attraction was one particular
dancer by the name of Amy Briggs.

On March 8, we had a jam session at the Schoharie Presbyterian Church with   Gerry, Dan, Dustin, Rick, Dian, Al, Mark, and Jimmy.

On March 2, 2002, we performed at the Masonic Lodge in Albany for an award ceremony honoring Richard Clark.    Rick, Dustin, Jimmy, Al,
Mark, Bob, Gerry, and Russ played several of our favorites after a ham dinner.    A contribution of $50 was made toward the Schoharie
Library Building fund.

Sunday February 24, 2002,  we played for the worship service at the Schoharie Presbyterian Church.  We played several tunes as well as the
finale, “Will the Circle be Unbroken”.  Kyle played fiddle, Dian played her Mandolin, Gerry played guitar, Pastor Rick presided and played
dulcimer, Bob played Bass, Dan played tin whistle, Dustin played banjo, and Russ was on the piano.  We made a joyous noise (music).

Prior to this, the band played mainly at the Knox Country Store, starting in the summer 1997, every other Friday evening from 7 till 9 pm.  
Anybody who showed up played.  One night we had 7 fiddle players.
